   在競技運動場上,運動員與教練不斷尋求新方法和新科技以促進運動成績表現。本文介紹壓縮衣物、呼吸肌訓練器和背向行走三種運動訓練方法,可提供運動員及教練參考。
  In the competitive sport field, athletes and coaches constantly seek for new approaches and technology to enhance athletic performance. This article introduces the application of compression garments, respiratory muscle training machine and backward walking in athletic training for athletes and coaches to consider.

   高地訓練對選手有著複雜的影響,主要是透過選手到高地後的適應過程以及在高地訓練過程中,達到提高選手機能狀態,以提升運動成績表現。本文針對高地訓練的訓練生理學做全盤的分析探討,對運動訓練具有重大意義及參考價值。
  High altitude training has complicated influences on athletes. During the training process, athletes adapt themselves to the environment resulting in improved body functional condition and better performance. This article presents a comprehensive analysis on the physiology of high altitude training, a significant and valuable reference for athletic training.

  Periodization is a method that integrates short-term, long-term and physical fitness training plans with quantified training load and intensity. It aims to bring forth the best physical conditions and to meet training needs. This article reviews the methods and models of simulated hypoxia training related applications. It discusses the possible benefits and adverse impacts of exposures to low oxygen environment.

  The objective of psychological skills training is to increase athletes' confidence, to cope with stress, and to improve on-site concentration in order to reach peak performing condition. This article recommends several simple yet practical psychological skills to coaches and athletes who are new to this concept, offering an entry-level solution to gradually strengthen athletes' psychological skills.

  Originated from a simple game on the table, table tennis has become a complex modern sport. This article looks into the history of table tennis and the influence from its rule change. It also points out the training trends and application of skills, fitness conditioning, mentality, and game strategies in table tennis. It is helpful for table tennis trainers and of practical value for promoting this sport.

  To strive for the first ever gymnastics gold medal in the 2008 Summer Olympics, the athletes must comply with the training objectives and strategies completely and to evaluate the effects and results periodically for adjustment. This article proposes several feasible and valuable tactics to meet short, mid and long term goals laid out for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

  Strength is the foundation of speed and power. The level of strength is the key factor influencing performance in competition. The study and development of strength training technology, therefore, is crucial for athletes to go beyond their limits and generate better results. Vascular occlusion is one of the more important training technologies invented recently. This article discusses the development, applications, perspectives and precautions of vascular occlusion based on the literature. It provides an alternative in strength training for both the athletes and the general public.

  To prevent unfavorable consequences in athletic performance caused by rapid weight loss, athletes and coaches should have the correct knowledge in body weight control. This article describes the actual case of weight losing among weight lifters and its effect on the athletes' performance. It offers the coaches and athletes promising and pragmatic strategies in body weight reduction.
