¡@¡@For most people, exercise may be effective in helping prevent the onset of diabetes. Exercise may also help prevent the occurrence of complications in diabetes patients. Consequently, it could be argued that exercise could help lower the cost of national medical care and improve the overall quality of life. This article takes a look at documents that show how exercise provides a stabilizing mechanism for blood sugar. This includes controls of liver glycogen in muscle and blood sugar as well as the importance of liver glycogen synthesis and possible exercise mechanisms in regulating liver glycogen synthesis. Hopefully it will provide both reference and practical value.
