 Looking Back: A Poetic Narrative on the Life of an Athlete

  優秀運動員的養成是運動員付出時間、體力、情感與意志的累積,一段段的運動生命故事在「說」與「聽」的同時,深度的「認識」才可能發生。本文主要以敘說分析的詩意結構呈現運動員運動生涯的「極短篇」,可提升讀者從文句中了解運動員的辛苦面向,讓讀者能從心靈來感受運動員的成長,在臺灣運動質性研究領域中應屬首創,頗具參考價值。
  The cultivation of an outstanding athlete is the culmination of the athlete's time, effort, emotion and willingness. The profundity of an athlete's life story can be gleaned through the process of telling and listening. This article proceeds from a poetic narrative structure in giving the reader the opportunity to understand the struggles a top-notch athlete goes through. The reader is taken into the life of an athlete in order to see his growth, hopefully offering some innovation in the realm of athletic research in Taiwan.

  運動包含各種競賽和遊戲的身體活動,其目的在於改善人們動作能力、體能、心理的調適和健康的生命型態。本文陳述體育活動在教育的獨特性與重要性,主張有效運動在教育可引發學生為自己健康負起責任,運動隱然已成為促成生命轉換的最佳方法。作者提醒大家,體育具有無可取代的教育意義,體育人要有任勞任怨、任重道遠的情懷與決心。
  Athletics involve many different types of competitions and games that use bodily movements. The aim of athletic competition is to improve people's ability to move, strength and agility, psychological reaction and overall health. This article looks at the educational aspects and importance of physical activity. The crux of the article attempts to explain how education can effectively provide students with ways to take responsibility for their own health, showing how athletics and exercise is the best way to promote a life transformation. I would like to remind everyone that physical education is an extricable part of the overall educational process and that physical education teachers and athletes must show the needed resolve to see things through to the end.

 
超越奪牌關注!追求運動競賽的核心價值

  四年一度的奧運會又將來臨。本文探討運動競賽核心價值,回歸運動競賽「運動家精神」的關注,在面對2008奧運奪牌的企盼下,無疑是一帖「清醒劑」,對奧運精神的再思,對運動員參賽價值的反思等皆有貢獻,具參考價值。
  The Olympic Games are fast approaching once again. This article would like to probe into the core values of athletic competition. Looking back at the spirit of athletes during competition can undoubtedly help us reconsider the importance of the Olympic spirit as we vie for medals in 2008. Hopefully this article can offer some reflective value for athletes in the preparation to take part in meaningful competition.

  從事運動教育工作時,如能秉持以人為本的精神,懂得關懷社會,尊重他人,將可為運動創造更多價值。本文首先論述學校課程中運動教育思潮的變革,再探討運動教育中的多元取向,最後再探討運動教育中人文關懷的建立,並以發揚奧林匹克精神、學習對弱勢族群的關懷、建構良好的社會價值及運動和平教育等觀點予以析論,頗能發人省思,具學術價值。
  When partaking in the work of physical education, it is important to find a way to keep the individual as a core focus, understand how to show concern for society and respect others in order to create even more value for athletics. This article would like to initially look at reforms in physical education in school curriculum before probing into recent pluralistic directions in physical education. Finally, we would like to discuss the establishment of humanistic elements in physical education such as bringing the Olympic spirit into play, learning how to show concern for disadvantaged sectors of society and building better social values as well as the concept of peace and harmony in athletics. Hopefully this article can help others to reflect on the importance of athletics and humanism while offering some points of academic reference.

  運動質性研究可以提供生命與學問之間很好的對話空間,其感染滲透力無遠弗屆,極易吸引他人目光的駐留,激發大家對共享的運動文化做進一步的思考。本文呈現一位研究所教授對多年從事研究工作的自我述說,為當前體育運動領域輕忽運動生命感的學術世界,提出反省與建言,具貢獻與參考價值。
  Researching the essence of sports can provide ample room for dialogue between life and scholarship. This dialogue can be limitless and allow for others to further reflect on sports culture. This article recounts the narrative of a graduate school professor who has engaged in years of research. Hopefully it will provide more room for reflection in the present realm of physical education that neglects the life spirit of sport.

  在競技運動、職業運動乃至全民運動的推展過程中,教練的重要性早已不言可喻。本文作者以質性研究敘事方式,直觀描繪從基層、大學到奧運,乃至臺灣整體教練所可能面臨的真實遭遇,並提出如何透過有效管理解決未來教練發展問題之願景,期能引起各界全面而深度之關注。
  In the process of competitive sports, professional sports and in today's realm of the promotion of sports for all people, the importance of the role of the coach cannot be understated. This article looks into the experiences and tribulations of coaches from the grass-root level to the university and Olympic levels, and even to the overall national level, and attempts to offer some insight into how to effectively tackle problems for the future development of Taiwan's coaches. Hopefully it will also entice some deeper level of concern from different sectors of society on the need to address this issue.

  Grass root athletic need only the intent, diligence and perseverance as well as an appropriate amount of guidance in helping our children become productive members of society. This article discusses the close contact and deep friendship between a coach and athlete. Hopefully it will provide some insight and offer readability to those interested.

  Breaking through personal limits is the performance goal of athletes. This article combines the research of a thesis with true narrative in describing the life experience and understanding I received in the process of athletic competition. Hopefully this will move readers and provide reference for research in similar realms.

 The Arena: The Athlete's Sacred Place

  運動賽會的目的就是透過公平競爭的規則與程序產生身體能力與精神意志最強的桂冠選手。本文從社會學的立場剖析「競技場」的不同面向,包括「身體」、「看臺」以及「內在世界」。幾個觀點融合了學理基礎與個人觀察,對競技場的現象剖析,起了一定的學術價值與發現。
  The aim of athletic competition is to offer a level playing field in order to allow the most able and spirited competitor to emerge. This article proceeds from a sociological perspective in dissecting the different faces of the athletic“arena,”including the“body,”the“audience”and the“internal world.” The amalgamation of different views offers a basis and personal observation in dissecting the phenomena of the arena and offering certain academic value and discovery.
 
臺灣原住民鄒族戰祭的身體教化意涵

 The Significance of the Bodily Cultivation during the Zou  Tribe’s Battle Sacrificial Ceremony

  原住民傳統祭典與原住民民族文化藝術一樣都是現實生活的部分反映,並透過具體、生動、感人的身體形象來反映原住民與大自然競爭和崇敬大自然的過程。本文介紹祭典文化與原住民生活的密切關係,同時深入介紹鄒族戰祭的祭儀過程,並論述鄒族戰祭對身體教化的影響,極具價值性與教育性。
  Traditional indigenous peoples' sacrificial ceremonies along with indigenous peoples' cultural art both reflect on the reality of life. They go through a medium of concrete, vivid and moving bodily imagery in portraying the respect and competition between man and nature. This article introduces the close connection between sacrificial ceremony and the life of indigenous people. Simultaneously it takes a deeper look at the battle sacrificial ceremonies of the Zou tribe as well as describes the influence the battle ceremony has on bodily cultivation. Hopefully the article will provide some concrete value and educational aspects to researchers.

 登山在國內的教育體系中,觀念上是一種社團活動,少有系所關注國內的登山教育。本文旨在描述一位資深登山家歐陽臺生老師熱愛環境土地及與大自然互動的體驗,以親身力行的態度來傳達他所極力推展的登山教育,對國內的登山教育有相對的貢獻。
  In Taiwan's education system, mountain climbing is seen as a social activity and very seldom looked at as a formal education opportunity. This article discusses an avid mountain climber O Young Tai Sheng and his experiences interacting with nature. He passes on his firsthand experiences climbing mountains in Taiwan in order to offer an educational contribution to the activity.
