一 月

• 「運動彩券發行方案」於1月7日陳報行政院審議。
• 2005年澳大利亞青年奧林匹克運動會於23日圓滿落幕，我國參加射箭、柔道、體操、排球及舉重等5種運動競賽種類，計獲得7金11銀8銅之佳績。
• 本會規劃辦理之94年寒假青少年休閒運動育樂營，包括攀岩、樂樂棒球、滑板、直排輪、極限單車等各項育樂營活動於24日熱烈展開中。

January

• On January 7, Chairman Chen reported the Sports Lottery Program proposal to the Executive Yuan for their consideration.
• The Australian Youth Olympic Festival 2005 came to an end on the 23rd. Taiwanese athletes competed in the archery, judo, gymnastics, volleyball, and weightlifting events, earning a total of 7 gold, 11 silver, and 8 bronze medals.
• NCPFS held the 2005 Winter Vacation Youth Recreational Sports Camp beginning on January 24th, including activities such as rock climbing, happyball, skateboarding, rollerblading, and BMX biking.

二 月

• 本會訂定「各級學校專任運動教練資格審定辦法」於3日以體委競字第09400025381號令發布施行，並於本會網站公告周知。
• 總統於16日接見我國參加2005年墨爾本聽障奧林匹克運動會代表團。我國榮獲8金4銀2銅佳績，在82個參賽國總排名第5，創下歷屆參賽最佳成績。
• 應中華民國舉重協會邀請來台訪問之泰國上議院院長（前任泰國舉重協會理事長）Maj. Gen. Intarat Yodbangtoey，於21日拜會本會陳主任委員，雙方就國際舉重總會改選進行意見交換。
• 2005年新春、快樂、希望公路接力賽於28日假雲林縣78號快速道路（台西-古坑段）舉行，本會陳主任委員全壽親臨現場指導，此次活動共有50隊來自全省各地愛好路跑者組隊參加。

February

• NCPFS enacted the Rules Governing Qualifications of Full-Time Coaches Employed at Any Educational Institution on February 3. The document, numbered 09400025381 was made public on the NCPFS web site.
• On February 16th, the President received the returning Taiwanese delegation who participated in the 2005 Melbourne Deaflympics. Taiwanese athletes earned a total of 8 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze medals, ranking fifth in the medal count among the 82 participating nations for Taiwan's best showing ever.
• Invited by the Chinese Taipei Weightlifting Association, Thai President of the Senate and former President of Weightlifting Association of Thailand, Maj. Gen. Intarat Yodbangtoey, called on NCPFS chairman Chen on February 21, where they exchanged ideas about the International Weightlifting Association's upcoming leadership elections.
• The 2005 "New Year, Happiness, and Hope" Highway Relay Race was held on the 28th in Yunlin County on the No. 78 Highway, along the section that travels between Tai-si and Gukeng. NCPFS chairman Chen Chiuan Shou personally attended the race to provide support. This year, there were a total of 50 teams hailing from all corners of the island.

三 月

• 中華民國網球協會4日至6日舉辦「2005年台維斯盃國際男子網球團體錦標賽亞洲/大洋洲區第1級第1回合中華台北vs.日本」，中華隊靠著盧彥勳與王宇佐兩人攜手合作，拿下2005年台維斯盃亞大區一級賽預賽首勝。
• 國際超級馬拉松協會（IAU）主席Mr. Dirk Strumane來臺勘察「2006年IAU世界盃24小時超級馬松」場地，於4日拜會本會黃副主任委員啟煌，並於5日正式宣佈「2006年IAU世界盃24小時超級馬松」將來臺舉辦。
• 「2005年國際高中籃球邀請賽」，於24日至27日假台北市立體育館舉行，計有日、韓及我國高中籃球聯賽男、女冠亞軍隊共8隊參賽，比賽結果，我獲男子組冠、亞軍，女子組冠軍及季軍。94年全國原住民運動會自25日至28日止假高雄縣舉辦，共有來自20個縣市4,000多名選手參加，由花蓮縣以22金獲大會總錦標第一名；高雄縣則以17金居次。

March

• The Chinese Taipei Tennis Association held the Asia/Oceania Zone Group I trial match between Chinese Taipei and Japan in the Davis Cup Men's Tennis Championship 2005 from March 4th to 6th. Chinese Taipei, helped by the performances of Lu Yan Shiun and Wang Yu Tzuo, earned their first win in a Davis cup Asia/Oceania Zone Group I trial match.
• International Association of Ultra Runners（IAU）president Mr. Dirk Strumane visited Taiwan to discuss the possibility of holding the upcoming 2006 World Challenge 24H in Taipei. On the March 4, he met with NCPFS Vice Chairman Hung Chi Huang and on the 5th he formally announced that the competition would be coming to Taiwan in 2006.
• The International High School Basketball Invitational 2005 was held from the 24th to 27th at the Taipei Gymnasium. Participants were Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese high school boys and girls making up a total of 8 teams. The championship team from the boys tourney was from Taiwan, as was the second place team. The first and third place girl's teams hailed from Taiwan.
• The 2005 Indigenous Peoples Games was held from the 25th to the 28th in Kaohsiung County, with over 4,000 participants from 20 counties and cities across Taiwan. Hualien County came out on top with 22 gold medals, while Kaohsiung County participants earned a total of 14 gold medals.

四 月

• 國際壘球總會會長Mr. Don E. Porter 及主任秘書Ms. Toma Malikoff於2日至7日來台訪問，赴高雄勘察「第22屆ISF會員大會」場地，並於6日晉見陳總統，本會由黃副主委啟煌陪同晉見。臺北縣政府主辦之「2005金石國際馬拉松賽」於7日在金山青年活動中心起跑，計吸引6,000名選手參加，比賽結果，比利時瑞克與俄羅斯莉莉亞分別在男女組稱王封后；吳文騫與許玉芳則在半程賽摘冠。
• 為讓本會圖書室藏書之查詢管道更便利，本會已完成網頁設計，並放置本會網站上供民眾查詢使用，網址為http://lib.ncpfs.gov.tw/search/search3_0.aspx。
• 為辦理本會健身房（體適能中心）定型化契約應記載及不得記載事項（草案）業務，於29日召開「健身房（體適能中心）定型化契約應記載及不得記載事項（草案）」會議。

April

• International Softball Federation (ISF) President Mr. Don E. Porter and Director General Ms. Toma Malikoff stayed in Taiwan from April 2nd to the 7th visiting Kaohsiung to survey the grounds for the 22nd International Softball Foundation Congress. On the April 6, they with met with President Chen accompanied with NCPFS vice chairman Hung Chi Huang.
• The Taipei County Government held the 2005 Gold International Marathon on the 7th. Six thousand racers were attracted to the event, which began at the Jin-Shan Youth Activity Center. Belgium's Rick and Russia's Lilia were the men's and women's champions respectively. Wu Wen Chian and Shiu Yu Fang were the winners of the half marathon.
• In order to provide a more convenient channel to search for information in the collection of the NCPFS library, this Council has completed its web page, which allows users to search through library materials. The site can be found at: http://lib.ncpfs.gov.tw/search/search3_0.aspx
• NCPFS convened a Sports Center contract finalization meeting on the 29th to determine which details should and should not be defined in the contract draft.

五 月

• 「2005年青少年活力擂台賽－民俗文化體育創意競賽」，於7日假台北新光三越百貨信義店舉行總決賽，計有30支隊舞參賽，競爭激烈，為期1個多月的比賽活動，在頒獎後圓滿落幕。
• 配合行政院消費者保護委員會於9日假捷運淡水站辦理「聰明消費　健康臺灣」園遊會，本會辦理有獎徵答活動，並發放文宣品，獲得熱烈迴響。
• 行政院於10日召開「運動彩券發行方案」會議，邀集財政部、內政部、法務部、教育部、經建會、主計處、研考會等相關部會討論運動彩券發行方案。
• 行政院於12日召開「2009年高雄世界運動會協調會第3次會議」，會議由謝前院長長廷主持，本會由陳主任委員全壽率相關人員出席，並闡述「健康臺灣─我國體育運動發展策略與國家運動園區」之理念。

May

• The finals of the 2005 Youth Ring Competition- Folk Culture Sports Ingenuity Competition were held on May 7th at the Taipei Mitsukoshi Department Store Xinyi Branch. There were a total of 30 teams participating in the fierce competition, which had lasted over one month. The games culminated a lively awards ceremony.
• In coordination with the Consumer Protection Commission of the Executive Yuan, the "Smart Spending, Healthy Taiwan" Outdoor Education Seminar was held on May 9th at the Danshui MRT station. NCPFS held a trivia activity, giving prizes out to the winners, and handed out publications.
• The Executive Yuan convened the Sports Lottery Program Committee Meeting on the 10th, calling together members of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Education, Council for Economic Planning and Development, Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting, and Statistics, and the Research, Development, and Evaluation Commission to discuss the Sports Lottery Program.
• The Executive Yuan convened the third Kaohsiung World Games 2009 Organizing Committee Meeting on the 12th, presided over by former premier Frank Hsieh. NCPFS was represented at the meeting by Chairman Chen Chiuan Shou and other members, who elaborated on the Healthy Taiwan -Taiwan Physical Education and Athletics Development Plan and National Sports Park proposals.

六 月

• 本會補助公視製播「為王建民加油-美國職棒大聯盟熱賽轉播」一系列現場實況轉播節目。
• 本會補助臺北縣立板橋體育場辦理「運動科學暨文物特展」，活動計有棒球投擲區、文物史料室及運動科學體驗區等展覽活動，展覽期間從6月9日至7月10日。
• 98年全國運動會舉辦縣市，經本會於20日及21日組評估小組實地訪視及勘查，並經第3次評選會議決議由台中市政府取得主辦權。我國參加第5屆遠東暨南太平洋區殘障桌球錦標賽代表隊經過7日激烈角逐，於24日凱旋歸國，共獲2金10銀5銅之佳績。
• 輔導中華民國體育運動總會於29日假本大樓3樓禮堂舉辦「行銷公關企劃研習營」，邀請媒體公關專家講授，本會由陳副主任委員榮盛前往致詞。

June

• NCPFS assisted Public Television in putting on the "Chien-Ming Wang Go Go Go! - American Major League Baseball Broadcast Series" with live Chinese language commentary.
• This Council supported the Pan-Chiao Stadium's Sports Science and Culture Expo, which had various informative exhibits such as the baseball pitching area, culture and history arena, and sports science experimental center. The Expo ran from June 9th to July 10th.
• Following on-site review and inspection of candidate cities and counties by this Council's Assessment Committee on the 20th and 21st and three meetings of the Selection Committee, Taichung was chosen to host the ROC National Games 2009. The Taiwanese team attended the 5th Far East and South Pacific Area Handicapped Table Tennis Tournament and after seven days of tough competition, they returned triumphantly on the 24th, bringing home 2 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals.
• NCPFS provided assistance to the Republic of China Sports Federation in their holding of the Marketing and Publicity Workshop on the 29th at in the auditorium on the 3rd floor of the NCPFS building. Media professionals and publicists were invited to share their expertise. The chairman of NCPFS gave the opening address.

七 月

• 高雄市政府及中華民國撞球運動協會於2日至10日假高雄市辦理「2005年高雄世界花式撞球錦標賽」，計有35國、128名世界頂尖選手參賽，我國16歲選手「泰山神童」吳珈慶勇奪冠軍，成為賽事有史以來最年輕的球王
• 2005健康台灣．台灣真行－千里單騎環島行活動，於7月17日完成，並於21日舉辦茶會，由本會朱前副主委壽騫頒發感謝狀給相關人員，並感謝麥當勞的支持與贊助。
• 我國代表團參加2005年杜易斯堡世界運動會，計榮獲2金2銀2銅，排名第22名，該賽會於我國代表接下2009年主辦會旗後，劃下圓滿句點。
• 中華民國排球協會及屏東縣政府於22日至24日假屏東縣辦理「2005年『中纖盃』亞洲男子排球挑戰賽」，由韓國、日本、中國大陸及我國約100位選手參賽，由韓國奪冠，我國獲得第三名。

July

• The Kaohsiung City Government and the ROC Billiards Association held the Taiwan World Pool championship 2005 from July 2nd to the 10th in Kaohsiung, attracting a total of 128 internationally recognized players representing 35 countries. Taiwan's 16 year old phenom, Wu Chia Ching, nicknamed Tarzan, claimed the champion's spot, becoming the youngest player ever to do so.
• The Healthy Taiwan, Beautiful Taiwan Round-the-Island Bicycle Tour 2005 began on the 7th and ended 10 days later on the 17th. On the 21st there was a reception held, where former NCPFS vice chairman Ju Shou Chian conferred Certificates of Appreciation to those who helped to make the tour a success. He also expressed gratitude to the McDonald's Corporation for their assistance and monetary support for the event.
• The Taiwanese delegation who attended the World Games 2005 held in Duisburg earned a total of six medals, two each of gold, silver, and bronze, ranking 22nd in the medal count. The games came to a perfect end with Taiwan receiving the IWGA flag, symbolizing that the Games will be coming to Taiwan in 2009.
• The Chinese Taipei Volleyball Association and Pingtung County Government held the 2005 Zhongxian Cup Asian Men's Volleyball Challenge from the 22nd to the 24th in Pingtung. The competition was attended by teams from South Korea, Japan, Mainland China, and Taiwan with a total of about 100 participants. South Korea claimed first place, while Taiwan came in third.

八 月

• 中華民國拳擊協會於5日至12日假高雄市辦理「2005年第3屆亞洲盃女子拳擊錦標賽」，計吸引亞洲14個國家及地區、200餘人參加，經過激烈競爭，我國選手陳嘉玲揮下第一面金牌，最後我國以1金5銀3銅的佳績為賽事劃下圓滿句點。
• 「2005年台北國際殘障桌球公開賽」於22-28日假台北市體育館舉辦，計有韓國、日本、中國等9國、160人參加，中華隊包辦輪椅組冠軍，林晏弘男子組稱王，魏美惠女子組封后。
• 我國中華世大運代表團參加2005年伊士麥世界大學運動會表現優異，共獲6金2銀4銅，創下我國參加本項賽事之最佳成績，在131個參賽國家中名列第9，也創下我國參加世界綜合性運動賽會最佳成績。

August

• Chinese Taipei Amateur Boxing Association held the 3rd Asian Women Boxing Championships in Kaohsiung from the 5th to the 12th, attracting more than 200 competitors from 14 Asian nations. After eight days of fierce competition, Taiwan's Cheng Chia Lin earned a gold medal. The final count for Taiwan was 1 gold, 5 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
• The 2005 Taipei International Handicapped Table Tennis Open was held in the Taipei City Gymnasium from August 22 through August 28 and was attended by 9 nations including South Korea, Japan, and China, with a total of 160 competitors taking part. Taiwan dominated wheelchair table tennis, earning the top spot in both the men's and women's competition.
• Taiwan's World University Games representative delegation attended the 2005 Games held in Izmir, Turkey and made a great showing. They earned a total of 12 medals, 6 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze, the best showing for Taiwan ever at these games, coming in 9th out of a total of 131 nations participating. Not only was it Taiwan's best showing at this games, but the best ever at any global, multi-sport competition.

九 月

• 精英獎頒獎典禮於9日假台中市中山堂舉行，計頒發最佳男、女運動員獎等7大獎項，計有體育界人士約800人參加。
• 10日在宜蘭冬山河舉行「2005宜蘭盃國際名校划船邀請賽」，共有12個國家、21所知名大學、男女共25支划船隊伍參賽，比賽結果，台北市立體院隊在男子八人單槳賽中稱霸，輔仁大學則在女子四人雙槳賽中封后，創下男、女賽事首度均由地主隊奪冠之佳績。
• 本會委託台灣體育運動管理學會於22日至23日假台北縣烏來舉辦「94年運動休閒服務業人才培育訓練課程」，由陳副主任委員榮盛蒞臨致詞，約有 100人參加。

September

• The 2004 Sports Elite Awards Ceremony was held in the Taichung Chung-san Hall on September 9th, where seven awards were bestowed on the country's best male and female athletes. Over 800 people from the world of athletics attended the ceremony.
• I-Lan International Collegiate Invitational Regatta 2005 was held on September 10th on I-Lan's Dongshan River. Twenty-five teams of rowers, representing 21 universities from 12 countries, attended the competition. Taipei Physical Education College captured first place in the men's eights competition, while Fu Jen Catholic University's four woman team won first place in the quadruple scull. This was the first time that both a men's and women's team from Taiwan came in the top spot.
• NCPFS commissioned the Taiwan Society of Sport Management to hold the 2005 Sports and Leisure Service Personnel Training Strategies Seminar on the 22nd and 23rd in Wulai, Taipei County. NCPFS Vice Chairman Cheng Rung Sheng spoke during the seminar, attended by about 100 people.

十 月

• 「2005全國登山日」於8日假圓山大飯店舉行開幕儀式，雖然現場風雨交加，仍約有1,200多位民眾冒著風雨參加。當天計有21縣市政府、66條路線同步舉辦登山活動。
• 94全國運動會於15日假雲林斗南田徑場熱鬧開場，謝前行政院長長廷及本會陳主委全壽親臨現場齊加油。
• 中華民國自由車協會於10月29日至11月4日假高雄縣（市）、台南縣（市）、南投縣、花蓮縣及台東縣辦理「2005台灣健康年－國際自由車環台邀請賽」，邀請12支國際隊伍，來台同場競逐。

October

• The Opening ceremony for National Hiking Day 2005 was held on October 8th at the Grand Hotel. Over 1,200 people fought the wet and windy weather to attend. Mountain climbing activities were sponsored by 21 county and city governments, covering 66 trails across the country.
• The National Games 2005 opened on October 15th at the Track and Field Arena in Tou-Nan, Yunlin County. Former Premier Shie Chang Ting and NCPFS Chairman Chen Chiuan Shou were in attendance to give their support to the event and participants.
• The Chinese Taipei Cycling Association held the 2005 "Year of Health" Tour de Taiwan from October 29th through November 4th in Kaohsiung, Tainan, Nantou County, Hualien County and Taitung County. In addition to local teams, 12 international teams came to Taiwan for the competition.

十 一 月

• 2日假本大樓3樓禮堂舉辦「典藏台灣棒球史嘉農棒球」新書發表暨記者會。
• 第一屆亞洲室內運動會於12日至19日假泰國曼谷舉行，我國選共獲得5金5銀3銅計13面獎牌。
• 台灣運動生物力學學會邀請國際奧會醫藥委員會生物力學及生物學附設委員會主席Dr. Benno M Nigg夫婦訪台，於21日到會拜會，由陳主任委員全壽親自接見。
• 輔導台灣運動心理學會於25日至27日，假台北市立體育學院舉辦「2005年運動心理學會國際學術研討會」，本會由黃副主任委員啟煌蒞臨開幕式致詞。

November

• On November 2nd in the auditorium of the 3rd floor of the NCPFS building, NCPFS held the Chiayi Agricultural University Baseball: A History book release and press conference.
• The first Asian Indoor Games were held from the 12th to the 19th in Bankok, Thailand, Taiwanese participants earned 5 gold, 5 silver, and 3 bronze medals for a grand total of 13.
• Taiwan Society of Biomechanics in Sports hosted IOC member and chair of the IOC Medical & Science Commissions' Subcommission on Biomechanics and Physiology, Dr. Benno M Nigg, who visited Taiwan with his wife. On the 21st, he visited NCPFS, meeting with Chairman Chen Chiuan Shou.
• NCPFS assisted the Society for Sport and Exercise Psychology of Taiwan in carrying out the International Science of Sports Psychology Workshop 2005 from the 25th to the 27th at Taipei Physical Education College. NCPFS Vice Chairman Hung Chi Huang addressed those assembled at the opening of the workshop.

十 二 月

• 中華民國籃球協會於10日假台北市立體育館舉行「94年度中華民國第3季超級籃球聯賽（SBL）開幕典禮」，邀請行政院吳前副院長榮義及本會黃副主任委員啟煌，共同為今年球季揭開序幕。
• 為積極輔導各單項運動協會迎接2009世運競賽實力，於12、13 日假高雄市舉行95年度工作研討會，各單項協會參與踴躍，並廣泛交換意見及提供建議。
• 本會於19日假台北市華國飯店召開94年度全國性亞奧運運運動種類團體理事長及秘書長座談會，藉此與各協會進行業務檢討及未來展望，以達成亞運年奪金目標。
• 本會補助中華民國棒球協會於16日在台北市立體育場多功能體育館（小巨蛋）辦理「王建民及旅美小將球迷歡迎會」活動，本會由陳主任委員全壽前往致意。
• 22日假體育聯合辦公大樓3樓舉辦「93年度委託研究成果發表會」，以落實本會各項委託研究成果於施政之運用。

December

• On December 10th at the Taipei City Gymnasium, the Chinese Taipei Basketball Association held the opening ceremony of the third season of Taiwan's Super Basketball League (SBL). ormer Vice Premier Wu Rung Yi and NCPFS Vice Chairman Hung Chi Huang both attended, helping to raise the curtain on the new season.
• In order to actively assist various sports associations in their preparations for the World Games 2009, Kaohsiung held a Planning and Discussion Workshop for 2006 on the 12th and 13th. The groups took part energetically, exchanging ideas and giving suggestions on how to hold a successful World Games.
• On the 19th in Taipei's Imperial Hotel, NCPFS convened a nationwide symposium with the leaders of the various Asian and Olympic Games Teams. It was an opportunity to discuss both administrative issues and visions for the future, in order to achieve their gold medal dreams in 2006.
• NCPFS subsidized the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association to put on the welcome meeting between Chien-Ming Wang and his fans held on the 16th at the Taipei Arena. NCPFS Chairman Chen Chiuan Shou was in attendance to show his support of Wang and his outstanding baseball achievements.
• On December 22 on the third floor of the United Sports Office Building, NCPFS held the 2004 Council Research Results Conference, to evaluate the results of research commissioned by the Council and discuss implementing these findings.[Top]
